Lara Fullalove is a recent graduate of the Film Practice BA course at UAL. A driven Director and Writer, she focuses on narratives representing young, marginalised voices, focusing on themes of feminism, queerness and small communities. Having grown up in Devon and relocating to London in the last few years, she enjoys showcasing stories from her local community, representing her heritage and stories of her family.

Some of her recent films include “Semi Skimmed”, “Just Be Nice, Don’t be a Cunt” and “Christmas, 1978”, with the latter making its debut in festivals later this year. She also has a prevalent background in music, writing songs and performing with her female fronted, Riot Grrrl band Booshka. Currently, she is working closely with Jes Benstock on a BFI funded documentary having met on the Film Practice course which he lectured on in previous years.

As well as directing, she also has worked as a 1st AD, Sound Recordist, Sound Designer and Producer on other projects, making her a well rounded filmmaker.
